Vivacon® 500 Centrifugal Concentrator

Vivacon 500 devices allow rapid concentration of DNA and PCR primer removal for samples up to 500 µl volume. They are also the product of choice for peptide fractionation by Filter Aided Sample Preparation (FASP). Vivacon 500 uses low binding Hydrosart® regenerated cellulose membranes positioned horizontally for optimal results in these applications. They can be used in micro-centrifuges with fixed angle rotors accepting 2.2 ml centrifuge tubes. Selected Molecular Weight Cutoffs (MWCO's) of the Vivacon 500 are available with an added ethylene oxide (ETO) treatment to make them sterile and free of detectable DNA (See Vivacon 500 ETO).
